On July 21, Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("Ningde Times") and Ford Motor Company ("Ford") announced that they had signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, establishing a global strategic partnership covering the supply of power batteries in China, Europe and North America.
According to the agreement signed by both parties, from next year, Ningde Times will also supply lithium iron phosphate battery pack for Ford Mustang Mach-E in North America, and from early 2024, it will provide lithium iron phosphate battery pack for Ford F-150 Lightning in North America. Thanks to the excellent characteristics of the battery life and thermal stability of the lithium iron phosphate battery system in Ningde Times, the above Ford models will have excellent performance in terms of environmental adaptability.
